Encore! Music Camps

This summer, Encore! Music Camp is teaming up with the Northfield Arts Guild’s “What a Character” theater workshop to bring you a week-long experience in musical theater fun! What can participants expect? A supportive atmosphere for developing as performers and expressive, confident individuals. In addition to vocal training, young performers will build skills in dance, movement, stage presence and character development–both onstage and off. The end result is an actual show…and everyone gets a part! Rehearsals and activities are led by artistic staff members Liz Shepley, Jana Schomburg and Rachel Haider.

Encore! music camps are for singers entering grades 2 - 12.

SESSION 1
For singers entering grades 2-6
June 21-26: Orientation/audition workshop is Sun., 6-7:30 p.m.
Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-noon
Performance at noon on Friday.
Cost: The cost is $105, which includes a cool camp t-shirt! A $25 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot; balance due on or before the first day of camp. Scholarships are available; for more information, contact the NYC office.

SESSION 2
For singers entering grades 5-12
Aug 9-14: Orientation/audition workshop is Sun., 6-8 p.m.
Mon.-Fri., 9-5 p.m.
Performance at 4 p.m. Friday.
Cost: $210

Cost: The cost is $210, which includes one Twins ticket for each participant. (Additional tickets will be available for families to purchase. Transportation to the Dome will be provided for singers.) Singers also get a cool camp t-shirt! A $50 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot; balance due on or before the first day of camp. Scholarships are available; for more information, contact the NYC office.

Registration: To register, download a copy of our brochure/registration form (available below soon!) and mail it, along with your deposit, to our office. Your registration will be confirmed by email. Note that participants entering grades 5 and 6 may choose either/both sessions.

In addition, each singer should complete a singer information form prior to the first day of camp.
