Elizabeth Eaker

Poco a Poco teacher

Elizabeth is a Knoxville native with music degrees from the University of Tennessee (Bachelor of Music in Education) and the University of Kentucky (Master of Music, Choral Conducting). Elizabeth has 25 years of musical instruction, ranging from K-12 choirs, theater music directing, and honor choirs. In 2019 she served as the Assistant Conductor with the Knoxville Handel Society. 

Elizabeth moved to Northfield with her family, husband, Christopher, son, Luke, and cats Pippin and Panther at the end of 2023. Her first jobs in Minnesota included long-term music substitute at Greenvale Park and Spring Creek Elementary Schools. Elizabeth now works in Lakeville, directing the choirs at McGuire Middle School. She is excited to start her second season with Northfield Youth Choirs, working with the youngest singers in Poco a Poco.
