Donate on Tues., Nov. 17 and your gift is matched!

On Tues., Nov. 17, Minnesota donors have a unique opportunity to maximize their donation dollars to Minnesota non-profits with “Give to the Max Day.” Beginning at 8 am, for 24 hours, giveMN.org and it’s funding partners will provide $500,000 in matching funds for all donations received in that time frame. The matching funds will be divided proportionally among all Minnesota non-profits receiving donations that day.

To donate, simply visit NYC’s page on giveMN.org. NYC is a registered, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Your contribution of $100 or more entitles you to NYC’s 09-10 Season CD, a two-disk set that includes our winter and spring concerts. (Receiving the 2-CD set reduces your tax deduction by $25.)

Rehearsals began Sept. 13 & 14

NYC’s 09-10 choral season officially began Sunday and Monday, Sept. 13th and 14th. Here’s a rundown of rehearsal times and locations:

• Poco a Poco (Grades 1-2): Monday, 4:15 to 5:15 pm, Bethel Lutheran Church. After school program begins 3:30
• Jr. Singers (Grades 3-4): Monday, 4:15 to 5:15 pm, Bethel Lutheran Church. After school program begins 3:30
• Treble Choir (Grades 5-6): Monday, 6:15 to 8:15 pm, St. Olaf music building. Includes Con Brio & Troubadours rehearsal
• Concert Choir (Grades 7-8): Monday, 6:15 to 8:15 pm, St. Olaf music building. Includes Con Brio & Troubadours rehearsal
• Chorale (Grades 9-12): Sunday, 7 to 9 pm, Bethel Lutheran Church
