From the Artistic Director: 1-5-07

Welcome new singers and welcome all to a new season of singing!

I hope this finds you rested, renewed and ready for a new season of singing that brings fun, excitement, celebration and reward.

The directors and staff have been busy planning and preparing for the retreats, tours, concerts and the twelve (only twelve!) Monday rehearsals we will enjoy in the next four months. We’re especially looking forward to our spring concert in St. Olaf’s newly renovated Boe Chapel on Sun., May 6, when we will celebrate the music of our friend and long time accompanist, Mary Davis.

We’re pleased to introduce Richard Collman as our Jr. Singers and Poco a Poco accompanist. Richard will be replacing Shana Hodel, whose family is on a semester’s sabbatical in Europe. Mr. Collman is an organist and a retired pastor who has extensive experience as an accompanist and choir director. Welcome, Richard, to our NYC family.

Blessings upon blessings to you and your family in 2007!
