Poco: A Music Experience: Grades K-1

Session 1: Mondays, Sept. 27 to Nov. 1, 2010 from 4:30 – 5:30
Session 2: Mondays, Feb. 7 to Mar. 14, 2011 from 4:30 – 5:30
After school program available 3:30 – 4:30
Program location: Bethel Lutheran Church, 1321 North Avenue, Northfield

Cost: Each session is $60 and includes an NYC t-shirt.  This program is not eligible for sibling discount.  Scholarships are available.

Poco: A Music Experience is our entry-level program for singers in kindergarten and grade 1.  Poco helps children find their voice and build confidence through singing games, movement, and vocal play. During their six week session, these singers may participate in our popular after school program which provides transportation to rehearsal from the public elementary schools, recreational activities, and a healthy snack prior to rehearsal.  Students are accepted on a first come basis and registration takes place by mail.

NYC’s After School Program (optional)

Participants: All singers in grades K-5
Bussing available from Greenvale Park, Sibley, and Bridgewater elementary schools.  Singers may also be delivered by their parents.
Time: Mondays 3:30 to 4:30 pm
Location: Bethel Lutheran Church, 1321 North Avenue, Northfield

Singers in grades K-5 have the option of participating in our after school program at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield. Bus transportation is available from Bridgewater, Greenvale Park, and Sibley elementary schools.  After a healthy snack, singers will have the opportunity for supervised outdoor play, indoor homework time, and/or a musical/creative activity.

Cost per session

• $20 Bus transportation, snack & programming
• $8   Delivered by parent; snack & programming only
