Cantanti! Sing! Rehearsals

Be sure to check out the following rehearsal schedule as we prepare for our winter concert, Cantanti! Sing! Note that most singers will have a break at our Saturday morning (12/8) rehearsal and are welcome to bring a book and a snack to enjoy during this time. While we will NOT be having a dress rehearsal, please make sure your uniform is ready for the winter concert that afternoon. Sun., Dec. 2
Chorale: Rehearse in Carleton’s Skinner Chapel at regular rehearsal time

Mon., Dec. 3
Poco and Jr. Singers: After school program and rehearsal at St. John’s as usual
Treble and Concert Choirs: Rehearse in Carleton’s Skinner Chapel

    Treble Choir: 6-8 pm. (Note earlier start time.)
    Concert Choir: 7-9 pm. (Note earlier start time.)

Sat. morning, Dec. 8
For all singers in Carleton’s Skinner Chapel.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your rehearsal time.

    Treble Choir girls: 8-10:30 (break 9-9:30)
    Treble Choir boys: 8-10:30 (break 8:30-9:00)
    Concert Choir girls: 8:30-11:30 (break: 9-9:30/10:30-11)
    Concert Choir boys: 9-11:30 (break: 10:30-11)
    Poco a Poco/Jr. Singers: 9:30-11:00
    Chorale: 9:30-noon (break- 10:30-11:30)

Look for Tour Assessment Invoices

Families of touring singers, look for your tour assessment invoice to arrive in the mail soon. Remember that tuition and tour assessments must be paid in full by April 6th. Please mail payments to PO Box 460. Thanks!

Be Ready to Sing!

Singers–please be early enough to find your seat, put your music in order, and have a sharpened pencil in hand by the starting time of each weekly rehearsal. (You may need ten extra minutes for this!) Also, it is extremely important that you attend each remaining rehearsal until our spring concert.

Chorale to Perform “A Winter’s Eve”

Friday, February 16th, 2007

NYC families–don’t miss “A Winter’s Eve,” coming up on Mar. 4th. Come to St. John’s Hall in St. John’s Lutheran Church at 7 pm for an evening of tunes and treats. Each Chorale family is asked to provide a fancy dessert to share. No admission is charged but a free will offering will be collected to help offset Chorale’s spring tour expenses.

On Mon., March 5th, Chorale will take “A Winter’s Eve” on the road to the Northfield Retirement Center. Please be at in the chapel at the Retirement Center at 6 pm. The concert will be finished by 8 pm.
