Mark your calendars for the upcoming Imagination Celebration at the Northfield Arts Guild on the morning of Sat., March 17. Arrive in the lower level of the arts guild building at 9:30 a.m. in your concert attire. We’ll have a quick rehearsal and perform at 10 a.m.
NYC will host two visiting choirs on the evening of Fri., April 20th, at Bethel Lutheran Church: “Cantabile,” of the Platteville Childrens Choir, directed by NYC charter member Heidi (Kuehnast) Johnson; and “Camerata,” of the Nebraska Choral Arts Society, directed by Nancy Engdahl Robson. We will provide a lasagna dinner to share with our singing friends (details to come), followed by a joint concert, which will include our Concert Choir. Please let us know if you can host two or more children from the Platteville choir after the performance on Friday until their departure Saturday morning.
Jr. Singers and Treble Choir: KidzSing is coming up on Sat., Mar. 10. Singers should arrive at Bridgewater school in concert attire at 1 p.m. to rehearse. The concert, titled “Nature Sings,” is free and open to the public and begins at 2:30 p.m.
