Northfield Youth Choirs

NYC will be participating in Sociale’s Cooking for the Community Charitable Giving Program during the month of April. Families of touring singers, look for your tour assessment invoice to arrive in the mail soon. Remember that tuition and tour assessments must be paid in full by April 6th. Please mail payments to PO Box 460. Thanks!

After our last rehearsal, your singer should have come home with a packet of tickets for NYC’s waffle dinner, which will be held on Mon., Apr. 9, 5:30 - 8 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church. (If your singer did not receive tickets, look for them in the mail soon!) Advanced ticket prices are: $6 for adults and $3.50 for children (6-12). Children 5 and under eat free. (Tickets are the door will be $7 and $4, respectively.) Please mail (PO Box 460) or drop off (205 S. Water St.) the proceeds from all sold tickets and return any unsold tickets to the NYC office by April 4th. You may also turn in your tickets/money at our April 2nd rehearsal.

While Northfield Public Schools are still closed, there will be choir rehearsal for all who can make it on Mon., April 2. Evening choirs will meet at the same time and same place. Afternoon choirs will be having rehearsal only from 4:15 to 5:15 at St. John’s. Note that there will be no bus service, snack, or recreation time that day.

When: Tues., April 10th. Meet at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Meet at Bridgewater School (NE corner of parking lot).
Wear: NYC blue polos and nice blue jeans (no holes, please!). Athletic shoes are OK.
Bring: Money for fast food or a lunch from home.

Parents, please send a permission note to school with your child before the 10th. If your child is not able to participate, please contact Mike, your choir parent, as soon as possible. Thanks!
